• Injection Ceftriaxone Injection is used for fighting bacteria in the body. It treats different types of bacterial infections including Bronchitis, pneumonia, bone infections, abdominal and skin infections, urinary tract infections etc.

• Depending on the disease, the patient is given different doses such as follows:

• Adults: 4gm i.v. Initially followed by 2gm i.v. Once daily for ten days or 72 hours after fever abates.
• Children: 75-100mg/kg body weight for 7-9 days

• Adults: 4 gm daily for 2 days followed by 2 gm daily for 2 days.
• Children: 75 mg/kg body weight daily for 7 days.

• Adults: 1-2 grams daily
• Children: 50-75 mg/kg body weight daily
